CMD designs, develops, manufactures and markets the FNM marine diesel engines (45HP-60HP-100HP-120HP-155HP-200-225-250HP). The FNM marine diesel engines, in natural aspirated, turbocharged or turbocharged and inter-cooled configuration, Common Rail and Multijet, are real winners for their higher specific power and specific torque with lower specific fuel consumption, aside from having outstanding power-to-weight ratio and compact dimensions. The FNM HPE Series is based on Alfa Romeo diesel engine technology.

Thanks to their very low pollution levels, they can meet and satisfy even the most stringent anti-pollution standards of today and tomorrow. This new series of exceptionally light and compact engines, features very high reliability in every condition; furthermore, this specific project has been carried out in order to optimize durability and reliability without reducing the performance of the engine. Particular attention has been paid to simplifying installation and maintenance operations as well as selecting the specific processes to apply to the engine parts in order to preserve them against the salt corrosion. All of this makes sure that this line of engines is placed among the most technologically-advanced marine diesel engines available today.

Finally, the engines fully conform to the new EEC regulations on pollution and noise. In a society where our customers demand the ultimate solution "more efficiency, more durability, more reliability" and where on the other hand the world and the environment demand less "less emissions, less pollution, less waste" the FNM marine diesel engines seem to be the perfect solution for all needs and expectations.
